Here’s a hint: We’re betting no one left the cheese out of the cheese sticks. What happened, then? Well, frying is tricky. Have you ever gotten a (fast food) French fry that was all fry and no potato? There you have it, only, in this case, the cheese melted right out of the breading. A little training and a little less fry time for the sticks and McDonald’s new babies should be back in the running.
Does that mean you should order them? Personally, I prefer to stick with what I know, and I suggest others do the same. That means I’m not ordering the seaweed salad at the local taco joint or the lobster mac n cheese and the bbq dive.
McDonald’s does many things well for their audience, but maybe cheese sticks won’t be one of them. Don’t cry for them, though. They still have burgers topped with amazingly delicious diced onions, stick fries, shakes, and breakfast to keep them going.
