Creole Shrimp and Sausage Stew

This dish is awesome. It really is. It mixes some of the best flavors ever to create a the perfect stew. If you’re a shrimp lover, this is for you. It doesn’t matter if it’s 30 degrees outside and there’s a blizzard, after a couple bites of this you’ll feel like you’re sitting on the front porch of an old southern home on a summer afternoon with a glass of iced tea beside you as your grandma knits on the porch swing and recants her favorite story from your childhood. Yeah, it’s that good.

The shrimp and sausage are clearly the mega stars of this dish. I personally like to enjoy a recipe like this with a dash of Old Bay seasoning, which is traditionally used for seafood, so it works perfectly here. Though if seasoning is not your thing, but hot-sauce is, opt for that original Louisiana hot sauce to reach your own personal fire threshold. Otherwise, enjoy this recipe perfectly as it is and bask in that warm summertime feeling. Even in the middle of January.
