The magazines are in and I’m drooling on my keyboard. Check out my favorite recipes (and soon-to-be your favorites, too!) from the month of October.

Banana Bread With Chocolate Glaze

See? What did I tell you? How is it possible that you won’t fall head-over-heels in love with this chocolate-covered banana bread from Cooking Light? We loved the user who suggested adding chocolate chips to the batter. More power to you, JoSkeen!

Chocolate Crinkle Candy Surprise Cookies

If you’re worried that you’re noticing a distinct chocolate trend, you are correct. The folks at Southern Living are breaking my heart with this recipe, but that’s only because I’m now dying for Rolos (to stuff in my mouth and inside these must-have cookies) and I’m stuck at my desk for another hour. Sixty more minutes staring at these beauties… how can something be so wonderful and so cruel all at the same time?

Pumpkin Chili with Chicken

Any excuse that I can find to purchase mini cauldrons is a-ok in my book. This amazingly perfect fall soup is a must-make for my family this Halloween. And you better believe I won’t be forgetting the corn bread… Thanks, All You!

Sausage-Stuffed Fingerling Potatoes

Um, did you read that? Sausage-stuffed potatoes? With Chipotle-Lime Guac on the side? Coastal Living Editors, where do we sign? Please send us a double batch, post-haste!

Fall Squash Lasagna

I was blessed with a mother-in-law who doesn’t eat tomatoes and a husband who loves lasagna. What’s a girl to do? Make this amazing, tomato-free dish from Health, that’s what! The fact that it calls for no-boil noodles just makes my life even easier. Who called for a miracle worker in the kitchen? I’m available, if needed, friends.
