Like an exquisitely wrapped gift you almost hate to open – until temptation gets the best of you.

• 2 oz. Canadian Mist
• 2 oz. white crème de cacao
• 1 oz. hazelnut liqueur
• Chocolate syrup

Combine the Mist, crème de cacao and hazelnut liqueur with ice in a shaker and shake vigorously. Set a martini glass on parchment paper and lightly drip with chocolate syrup, decorating the inside of the glass. Strain shaker ingredients into the glass.  Makes one serving. 

Another fun way to present this drink is to melt bittersweet (not milk) chocolate pieces in the microwave.  Careful, as the chips don’t look like they are melting, but will be soft when you give them a stir.  Dip the rim of the martini glass in the chocolate and set the glass aside to let it set.  You can do this ahead of time and when you are ready to serve the cocktail, pour the shaker ingredients into the chocolate-rimmed glass. Enjoy!
