Celebrate National Lasagna Day

July 29, 2010 | By | Comments (0)

It seems in the world of food and entertaining, there is always something or someone to celebrate…and today is no exception! According to mypunchbowl, July 29 is National Lasagna Day. So, I felt it was my editorial duty to observe this holiday (too bad it's not a company holiday), as lasagna (well, any Italian food, really) is one of my favorites. So feast your eyes on these these saucy, cheesy, yummy rectangular pieces of goodness, and enjoy a slice of heaven in honor this classic Italian dish!

Believe or not, this is a Weight Watchers recipe (5 Points)! Find out how to make it from Laa Loosh.

Now this is my perfect lasagna! Just enough cheese, a thick sauce with beef and sausage, yum! Enough of my rambling, check out the recipe at Closet Cooking.

Although some may think lasagna is just for cooler months, try using summer produce in this Hand-Rolled Lasagna from Italian Chef.

So, I know I'm asking a lot to cook homemade lasagna on a weeknight, so here's a little help. Try this Weeknight Ravioli Lasagna recipe from All You. There's only 5 ingredients, and it's take less than an hour from start to finish.

Got your own lasagna recipe you'd like to share? We'd love to see it!
