OR, we could forget that combination altogether and try something else… once you’ve gotten that image out of your mind. To put your stomach at ease, we’ve compiled some much better combinations for you to try—recipes that involve bananas, hollandaise sauce, and ham, but which we have no desire of ever combining together. Thank goodness.
If you’d like to cook with bananas, there are a myriad of ways to do so that don’t involve wrapping them in boiled ham, such as slicing lengthwise and adding a sweet filling, or baking them into banana bread.
Ham is a terrific spring dish, and there are tons of different ways to serve it. If you love yours with a sweet-tart sauce, look no further than this spiced-cherry glaze. If you’re a pizza lover, you’re going to love it Hawaiian-style with some pineapples. Aloha!
