Cheesecakes fall under the “cake” category in my book, and this is one impressive cheesecake. There is something so luxurious and indulgent about cheesecakes. To me, they’re a little more formal and elegant than a regular cake. Red velvet is a popular flavor around Valentine’s Day, so why not make it in cheesecake-form for your special someone?


This Red Velvet Cheesecake has a chocolate wafer cookie crust and a thick layer of red velvet cheesecake filling. It’s even topped with a smooth layer of cream cheese frosting, just like the traditional cake recipe. What’s great about this cheesecake is that it’s very easy to make. Many things can go wrong when baking cheesecakes; it might sink in the middle or crack on the top. But you don’t need tons of baking experience for this one.
