If you’ve always wanted to travel to Rome but never had the chance, stumbling upon this week’s freaky food find is the next best thing. We proudly present this impressive interpretation of the Roman Colosseum constructed completely out of pizza dough! This carb-heavy masterpiece was designed and handcrafted by British food artist, Prudence Emma Staite (pictured), and was actually featured in the Museum of London a few years ago. She also displayed pizza dough sculptures of Pope Benedict XVI and the Spanish Steps using enough dough to make 500 pizzas. If you ask me, this drool-worthy work of art is begging for a sprinkling of cheese and a generous dunk in marinara sauce. Now that’s a true taste of Italy!
